The new Cottonwood Hills Golf Club is an open-to-the public daily-fee course, allowing everyone who wishes to enjoy this truly unique golfing experience.

The Hutchinson area is no stranger to world-class golf, with one of the nation's top 25 courses just a few short miles away. The overwhelming natural beauty of this region creates a feeling of solitude, allowing each golfer to concentrate on the next challenge that awaits them during the round.

Cottonwood Hills is designed by one of the world's premier players and golf course architects, Nick Faldo, who says its rolling sand hills and tumbling dunes remind him of the great Scottish courses where the game originated.

In just about every ranking found, this impressive course consistently ranks among the top golf courses in the United States and the World. Prairie Dunes is the premier golf course in Kansas.

As a tribute to its greatness, the United States Golf Association (USGA)  selected Prairie Dunes as the site of the 2006 U.S. Senior Open Championship.  Prairie Dunes also was the site of the 2002 U.S. Women's Open Championship.

Designed by the renowned golf course architect Perry Maxwell, Prairie Dunes is for thinking players.  It rewards the good shot and punishes the weak one.  Tom Watson, an honorary member of Prairie Dunes, describes the course as "a touch of Scotland in the Land of Oz, sunflowers instead of heather, oceans of grain instead of the sea."

The eighth hole was named the best eighth hole in the country by Sports IllustratedGolf Magazine lists both the eighth and tenth holes among the nation's 100 best holes.
