Job Seekers Invited to Upcoming 2010 Reno County Job Fair

HUTCHINSON, Kansas (February 15, 2010) - - Job seekers are invited to attend the 2010 Reno County Job Fair. The event is free of charge and takes place Saturday, February 27, 2010 at the National Guard Armory, 1111 N. Severance, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. It is sponsored by the Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce, hutchareajobs.com, and KANSASWORKS – Hutchinson Workforce Center.

“This job fair is open to anyone looking for employment,” said Dana Regehr, Economic Development, Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce. “We have quite a few good companies who are currently hiring. We also have several training institutions and job seeker assistance firms attending.”

With over 15 employers and training firms registered for the event, there will be numerous job opportunities available with a wide variety of qualifications. Participating employers include: Arbonne International, Arnold Group, Budget Car & Truck Rental, Central Kansas Society of Human Resource Managers, Collins Bus Corp., Daymon Worldwide, Edward Jones Investments, Friends University, Hutchinson Community College – Computer and Industrial Technology Dept., Hutchinson News, Krause Corp., Lowe’s Home Improvement, Manpower Staffing Services, Mennonite Manor, Move Into Action, Promise Regional Medical Center, and U.S. Cellular.

Job seekers are encouraged to bring resumes to the Job Fair and come prepared to interview. “Job seekers should consider this event their first impression with the company and be dressed appropriately,” said Regehr.
