| Zenor Electric Named Small Business Spotlight Award Winner |

Congratulations to Kris Groves and Dusty Moore, co-owners of Zenor Electric, recipients of the 2006 first quarter Small Business Spotlight Award. Presentation of the award will be made at the March Chamber Membership Breakfast.
The History of Zenor Electric began 21 years ago. Larry Zenor started Zenor Electric on May 18, 1982. Zenor's original shop was a small space in the back of his brother-in-law's business. As Zenor's business grew, so did Larry's need for a larger shop. In 1998, Larry relocated to their present location at 1203 W. 4th in Hutchinson, Kansas.
After 19 years of dedication, hard work, and a lot of growing, Larry sold Zenor Electric in May 2001. The new owners, Kris Groves and Dusty Moore are committed to the same professional business ethics that make Zenor Electric a successful Electrical Contractor. They maintain a reputation for outstanding service no matter how large or how small the job is. “We pride ourselves on honesty with customers,” said Dusty Moore, “Customer satisfaction is our number one priority.”

Zenor Electric currently employs 9 full time staff. Kris Groves, Dusty Moore, Carl Bisterfeldt, Tom Darling, Corey Hedger, Pam McAllister, Craig Meyer, Pat Thompson, and Dennis Tippie. “Our workforce generally averages around 9-10 full time employees,” stated Groves.“Depending on our project load, we have employed as many as 20 employees,” Groves continued, “We do whatever it takes to get the job done, on time and on budget.”
Zenor Electric offers a variety of services ranging from commercial and residential jobs to industrial and new construction.
The Small Business Council selected Zenor Electric from nominations made by Chamber members. The award is given quarterly to a Chamber business that exemplifies community spirit and superior business practices. Nominees must be a Chamber member in good standing, been in business for at least three years, and employ fewer than 25 people. The Small Business Spotlight award is proudly sponsored by First National Bank of Hutchinson, and the Hutchinson Credit Union. |
