 Historic Fox Theatre
ONE OF THE FINEST EXAMPLES OF ART
DECO ARCHITECTURE in the Central
United States, Hutchinson’s Historic Fox
Theatre has been restored to its original
1931 grandeur.
The theatre greets you with one of the few original, functioning marquees in the country. It was the first flashing display of neon in Kansas.
The Fox is the State Movie Palace of Kansas, is listed on the National
Register of Historic Places, and voted
one of the “8 Wonders of Reno County”.
The theatre’s annual season includes
concerts, comedy, stage shows, a family
series, and films. Among the events for
this season are “100 Years of Broadway”
and Diane Schuur.
The Fox Theatre seats 1,221 and
is available for weddings, corporate meetings,
tours, and other gatherings.
