Registration is now open for the Reno County Community Outlook Conference hosted by the Center for Economic Development and Business Research (CEDBR) in conjunction with Greater Hutch, the economic development partnership for Reno County.

The event will take place on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Crystal Ballroom at The Burt, 3 W. Avenue B, Hutchinson, KS.  Jeremy Hill, director of the CEDBR at Wichita State University will talk about the current economic conditions, economic drivers for the state and regional economies, and general expectations over the coming months.  Topics to be included are labor demand, costs, and wages. Debra Teufel, president and CEO of the Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce will also provide an in-depth analysis of the local economy. 

All attendees will receive a one-year subscription to CEDBR’s forecast booklets, which consist of two in-depth publications and reference guides on regional and statewide economic conditions in Kansas.  The cost to attend an event is $50, which includes the forecast booklets ($100 value).
