Editor in Chief of Entrepreneur Magazine to speak at the 2020 Chamber Annual Meeting

The Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce announced today that Jason Feifer, editor in chief of Entrepreneur Magazine will be the keynote speaker at the Chamber Annual Meeting on Monday, February 3, 2020 at the Hutchinson Sports Arena.

"We feel very fortunate to have Jason as the keynote speakers for the 2020 Annual Meeting,” said Pat Fallon, Executive Vice President and Director of Community Banking for Plains State Bank and 2020 Chamber Board Chair. “Whether you are a small business or a large corporation, the rapid changes impacting today’s businesses requires us all to adapt.  We look forward to hearing from a national expert on innovation in our businesses.”

Creating a thriving start up environment in Hutchinson and Reno County is an important pillar of the Chamber’s economic development strategy and is vital to continued growth.  “We are pleased to be able to bring such a high caliber speaker to our members in 2020,” said Debra Teufel, President & CEO of the Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber.  “As our community comes together to create a prosperous future and growing economy, we look forward to hearing Jason’s inspiring message about change.”

In addition to being editor in chief of Entrepreneur Magazine, Jason is also the host of two podcasts: Pessimists Archive, a history show about why people resist new things, and Problem Solvers, about entrepreneurs solving unexpected problems in their business. He has been an editor at Men's Health, Fast Company, Maxim, and Boston Magazine, and has written about business and technology for the Washington Post, Slate, New York, and others. His novel Mr. Nice Guy, which he wrote with his wife, is currently being developed for television. Jason lives in Brooklyn, New York.
