Mary Winters had been an Office Manager for five Farm Bureau Agents for several years when she was approached about becoming an Agent in the South Hutchinson Office.  In 2004, she began her career as an Agent, and with a lot of hard work, dedication, discipline, and long hours, she soon realized she had been preparing for this role for many years.  During her first year, she was awarded Rookie of the Year and Super All American. Since then, she has grown her book of business, achieving All American for 14 years, Super All American twice, six consecutive years as Pacesetter Agent, and in 2018 was inducted into Farm Bureau’s Hall of Fame.

Insurance is an ever-evolving industry, and the market is highly competitive with various highs and lows.  Kansas weather is also a dictating factor in insurance.  Mary and her team try to remain optimistic in difficult times and maintain the challenges by providing consistency, reliability, loyalty, commitment, and perseverance.  She has found that the key to success is to focus on goals, not obstacles!

In 2013, Mary moved to her current location allowing her to grow her team.

She believes in respect, loyalty, comradery, and never putting limitations on the successes of her team.  As a team they set goals, are provided with incentives and rewards, and believe every day is a new opportunity for success.

The community is not only largely important to Mary personally, but even more crucial to her Agency.  She tries to always be a part of local and surrounding area schools, rodeos, events, organizations, student activities, and more.  This includes Cancer Council of Reno County, TECH, Intrust Bank Arena, Pretty Prairie Rodeo, Haven FFA, South Hutchinson Police Department, Kansas High School Rodeo Association, UV Laps for Learning, Crusader Closet, Tower Gardens at Hutchinson High School, Trunk or Treat, Kansas Maze, and many more.

Mary believes the one thing that sets her apart from the rest is her commitment.  Commitment to her clients; commitment to being loyal and genuine; commitment to being present through the ups and downs of life and changes; and commitment to care for all her customer’s insurance and financial needs.

Thank you Mary for all you do for our community.
