Thank You Hutchinson!

Visit Hutch wants to thank everyone who made hosting the Kansas Shrine Bowl in Hutchinson a reality! Over three years of planning went into the four days of events that happened last week, and we are so grateful to Hutchinson Community College Athletics, the Reno County Shrine Club, the Kansas Shrine Bowl Board of Directors and staff, our local partners, and the entire community of Hutchinson for welcoming the Shrine Bowl with open arms!

Over 400 students participated in the Band Camp, Cheer Camp, and the Hospital Experience at the Cosmosphere with an additional 125 youth participating in the High School Combine, Jr. All-Star Challenge, and Youth Cheer Clinic.   The West and East Football team rosters were made up of 100 of the best Kansas High School senior athletes and coaches.  Hundreds of Shriners and visitors participated in the Annual Golf Tournament at Crazy Horse, the Mine Run 5K at Strataca, and lined the streets of Downtown Hutch for the Shrine Bowl parade. And on Saturday night, thousands of fans packed Gowans Stadium for the 48th Annual Kansas Shrine Bowl game. The entire week was a success…but could not have been done without your support!

Thank you to the businesses that displayed welcome messages, posters, and banners.  Thank you to the hotels, restaurants, retail stores, and attractions that welcomed our visitors.  And thank you to every person in the community that supported the Visit Hutch team and our efforts to host the Shrine Bowl in Hutchinson for the first time.

It has been a dream to host the Shrine Bowl in Hutchinson for 48 years and we are so proud that we have been added to the list of Kansas Shrine Bowl host communities!
