Hutchinson to Host 2018 American Yankee Association Annual Convention and Fly-in

Kansas State Fairgrounds to Host American Maine-Anjou and Chianina National Junior Show

The American Junior Maine-Anjou Association (AJMAA) and the American Junior Chianina Association (AJCA) will host the 2017 Maine-Anjou/Chianina Junior Show in Hutchinson, KS for the first time in June.  The seven day show will bring over 550 head of cattle, nearly 400 youth exhibitors and their families from across the country. “The goal of both the AJMAA & AJCA is to provide opportunities that will help build and shape our young people into the great leaders we know they are”, said Lindsey Broek, Director of Shows, Communication and Youth for the American Maine-Anjou Association. Veterans Administration Awards Three Hospital Projects to Superior Boiler Works

Superior Boiler Works has been awarded three projects for Veterans Administration hospitals, the company announced today. Two of the hospitals are in the northwest United States, and the third is a hospital in the Midwest. Each hospital required a custom-engineered solution based on specific requirements. Superior will deliver its Wichita boilers to two of the facilities. This newer model in the company’s boiler line incorporates the latest engineering enhancements to maximize efficiency and operations in a small footprint. Stryko Mako Robot will assist with Orthopedic Procedures at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center

BY KEN JOHNSON, PRESIDENT AND CEO Hutchinson Regional Medical Center will soon open an Orthopedic Center of Excellence to enhance treatment of orthopedic patients. Included in the enhancements is the addition of a Stryker Mako Robot to coincide with the renovation of a unit on the hospital’s third floor to prepare for treating an increased number of patients awaiting hip and knee replacements. More than 500 Reno County residents undergo hip and knee replacement surgeries every year. By: Ken Johnson, President & CEO   The most recent milestone in the Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System (HRHS) transformation took place on September 24th, 2018 with the implementation of OZ, a new HRHS Electronic Health Record (EHR).  Years of exhaustive planning and training resulted in a successful implementation as HRHS made this $20 million EHR operational.
