Hutch Fall Fest Activities

Downtown Hutch, Hutch Rec, and the Downtown Hutchinson Rod Run are excited to announce the inaugural Hutch Fall Fest, celebrating the Salt City with some of our community’s favorite events, live music, and food – all wrapped into one weekend, October 1-2.  In addition to the Salt City 5K/10K, Brew Fest, and all the Rod Run activities, we are excited to announce several additional events taking place throughout the weekend as well!

Family Movie Night Presented by DCI

Join us Friday, October 1 at 7:30pm as we kick off the weekend with a FREE, family movie on the lawn of DCI Park, 2nd and Main.  Bring your blanket and/or lawn chairs and enjoy the 1968 classic The Love Bug.  


Tommy Castro and Marcia Ball at the Fox Theatre

Let’s have some fun!  Hutchinson's Historic Fox Theatre is excited to present the Gulf Coast West Coast R&B Ramble with Marcia Ball and Tommy Castro & the Painkillers Friday, October 1 at 8pm.  Tommy Castro & The Painkillers’ road-hardened chops and Tommy’s sense of California soul promises a stew of funky Southern soul, major market blues and American rock. It will be a live, luscious string-bending jam that will put a smile on your face and a feast for your musical soul. Sharing the Fox’s stage – the one, the only, Long Tall Marcia Ball, sharing her Louisiana tinged voice, her famed barrelhouse piano chops and her marvelous band. Judy's Mile Fun Run

Run, walk or skip your way to the finish line at Judy's Mile hosted by Boys and Girls Clubs of Hutchinson.  This one-mile family fun run is open to all ages and will begin in front of DCI Park on Saturday, October 2 at 8:30am.  For more information or to register, click below.

Hutchinson Symphony Hometown Tour presents Classical & Rock

The Hutch Symphony will be taking it to the street on Saturday, October 2 at 3pm on the corner of 1st Avenue and Main.  This concert will feature Arturo Marquez' fiery Danzon No. 2, Rossini's story of bribery, deception and disguise (The Barber of seville), and a trip down memory lane as the Symphony presents Rock favorites by Deep Purple, Metalica, Megadeth, Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath featuring a guest guitarist and event more street action.  For more details, click below.
