The business started back in the 1950’s and has seen many transformations over the decades including a hair salon and an arcade.  When Carla and her husband bought the business in 2015 the business had been in disrepair.  They have since overhauled and or replaced all machines and dryers, replaced the roof, fixed the electrical, rectified all plumbing issues, and even added Google Translator to their phones in order to communicate with all customers.

Giant Laundry is a very friendly and family oriented business.  Carla and her husband know their customers by name and want people to feel like they are doing their laundry right at home. They always have an attendant on duty to help with everything from helping people get stains out of their clothes to directing them to the dry cleaners and more.  They also treat their employees like they are family, offering a flexible work schedule.

At Giant Laundry they pride themselves on giving to those needing help year-round.  They provide cleaning vouchers to Open Door Pregnancy Care Center; provided free laundry service to those affected by the wildfires a couple years ago; offer senior, veteran, and student discounts; and hold a drawing once a month for free laundry.  They are also the only laundry service in town offering Laundry Love. This service provides homeless people and families with five free loads of laundry every month. Giant Laundry provide the soap, the softener, and all other expenses. In addition, various community organizations provide a free meal for everyone who comes in, as well as hygiene products when available and sometimes even donated clothes.

Giant Laundry is proud to be here and plan to be for a very long time.  Congratulations and thank you for all you do for our community.
