Scott Mann grew up in Hutchinson and attended Hutchinson Community College and Colby Community College.  He went on to attend the University of Kansas School of Law School and after graduating he returned home to work at Gilliland & Hayes, where he was a partner for 14 years.  While working at Gilliland & Hayes, Scott had many great mentors and in 2000 he opened Mann Law Offices, LLC.  At the time he opened, he had two paralegals.  Over the years the firm expanded with Mike Wyatt, a Buhler High School graduate, joining the firm in 2009;  Mitch Rice, a Hutchinson High graduate joining in 2011; Jesse Tanksley, a Central Christian graduate, joining the firm in 2015; and Sam Schulte, a Buhler graduate joining in 2017.   In addition, Mann Wyatt & Rice, LLC now also has seven full time staff members: Carrie Barr, Paralegal (28 years), Katherine Moore, Office Manager (14 years), Kate Schnider, Legal Assistant/Receptionist (6 years), Pam Mitchell, Legal Assistant (4 years), Robin Yates, Legal Assistant (3.5 years), Caressa Runyon, Legal Assistant (1.5 years), and Renee Jenkins (1 year).

With more than 50 years of trial and litigation experience, Mann Wyatt & Rice is one of Central Kansas’s most experienced firms practicing exclusively in workers compensation, wrongful death, personal injury, auto accident, trucking accident, motorcycle accident law, catastrophic injury, products liability, nursing home negligence and premises liability.  They are very busy at Mann Wyatt & Rice, LLC, but strive to make each client feel like they are their only client, going above and beyond for each of them.

In addition, they serve on the Board of Directors of their respective churches and each year firm employees spearheaded home renovations for a Hutchinson family in need.
