The Hutch Chamber is honored to present the March Small Business Award to Keller Williams Hometown Partners – Blick Homes, owned by Dianne Blick.

Dianne became a licensed realtor in 2015 and after two years, formed BlickHomes LLC in 2017. As her experience in the industry grew, Dianne observed that many agents struggled. Obtaining a real estate license prepares agents to know the legals and technicalities of real estate transactions but it does not prepare an agent to run a financially sound personal business nor provide any soft skills training or day to day management of clients. Dianne’s four previous careers in the United State Air Force and then in the corporate and non-profit worlds delivering client services, business development, relationship sales and fundraising prepared her to know the questions to ask to be a highly successful realtor. As most brokerages are not organized to provide this training, she sought to quickly build the additional knowledge needed by investing in a personal real estate coach. The model in Dianne’s business at BlickHomes and available to realtors that meet her criteria for integrity, client service and accountability is to provide the level of coaching and mentoring that she sought and leveraged to build a successful, sustainable and client acclaimed business.

Over the 9 years, Dianne’s personal sales volume has been 281 transactions. She was awarded the peer nominated 2022 Realtor of the Year and mentored Courtney Thompson who won the peer nominated 2021 Rookie of the Year.

Their vision is to be the MOST RECOMMENDED real estate provider in our market. Their Mission calls for us to COMMIT to serve their clients, customers and community real estate needs with integrity, skill and care. They know referrals are the Highest Form of Compliment and represent over 65% of their business.

One of Dianne’s favorite reviews states simply, “I trust her” and this is echoed in the words of many other reviews and notes of appreciation received over the years. It is what we strive for every day. They bring a passion for our community in that they have chosen to live here, and they actively participate in organizations, shop locally to every extent possible and celebrate the wins. Conveying this passion to their clients who relocate from out of state for jobs or lifestyle choices is a point of pride and privilege.

In Dianne’s words…  “As a small but mighty two-person real estate office we are definitely a small business but we believe that we positively impact Hutchinson. We champion growth and positivity in our community and understand that while we have challenges, our community is special. It has endured many years of change, challenge, prosperity, more challenges and more changes and with the commitment of our Community Foundation, the Chamber, elected leaders and those who choose to live here and look to prosper, Hutchinson is here for the long run.”
